Karina Dunbar brings to our firm, Wadhwani & Shanfeld, an impressive amount of dedication and drive, as well as an inspiring desire to succeed on behalf of her clients. Her area of practice is focused chiefly on bankruptcy, as she feels particularly passionate about helping clients rest easy after resolving their case. Karina understands just how difficult it is for anyone to decide to file for bankruptcy, which is why she seeks to be a reliable source of guidance and compassion for anyone seeking a Southern California bankruptcy firm they can trust.
Karina Dunbar's strong academic background is thanks to her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, in which she graduated summa cum laude. Following this achievement, she earned her Paralegal Specialist certificate. She has been a paralegal since 1996 and administering bankruptcy cases since 2001, during which time she has helped thousands of individuals and families successfully move on to the next chapter of their lives.
Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, Karina is eagerly devoted to her community. In fact, she is a member of the Fort Tejon Historical Association Board of Directors, as well as a volunteer docent for the State Historic Park. In her vital role, she plans and hosts fundraisers for the betterment of the Fort, as proceeds from these fundraisers and outreach programs go towards the reconstruction and preservation of the Fort, as well as the improvement of the Student Living History Program.
In her spare time, Karina enjoys reading, researching U.S. Military History, and visiting historical sites and museums with her husband and son.
